Lucky's Big Adventure
Being a breeder, you just can't fall in love with them all, but we do. When they are sold we worry about the type of home they have and so far they all have had very good homes. If you plan on buying one of our parrots, please keep in mind this is a long time investment. They need everyday handling, feeding, loving and training. We have tried to sell most of our babies, but we had to keep this clown. He is very smart and enjoys traveling and just sitting around getting into everything in his path. We have got to realize he is not our grandchild, before he has us doing tricks. He hates his flight suit and fights the whole dressing but once he gets to go with us outside or for a ride to a friends he loves it.

Lucky is our little Jenday Conure
Born Friday the Thirteenth of 2007
Thus the name

This photo shows Lucky's head which has not turned golden yet, as you can see from this photo. This is the first Jenday that we have hatched that did not color through. He is a great little fellow and is beautiful to us, and we fell in love with him when he looked like the babies in the photo below. This photo was taken October 31, 2007 with Lucky in the middle of the pile.

Lucky loves helping with his younger siblings, he gets in the box to clean and tries to feed them. At almost six months old Lucky is completely weaned but loves to nibble at the baby formula.
